The tomb of Khoja Ahmed Yassawi is a square dome structure with sides of 7.15 m. The outer diameter of the tomb’s dome is 10 m. On the floor there is a rectangular elevation measuring 4.7 x 3.8 m, height 46–50 cm, made of burnt bricks. In the centre of the tomb, in the eastern part of the elevation there is a large tomb of Khoja Ahmed Yassawi without an epitaph, lined with slabs of serpentinite (coil) of light green colour. The base of the gravestone along the perimeter is 1.05 x 2.94 m, the total height is 1.85 m. The individual parts of the gravestone are decorated with fine carvings.
Around the gravestone there are bronze lamps, some of which are Timur’s gift to the Mausoleum. In the south-western part of the rectangular podium there are graves of the wife of Khoja Ahmed and his son Ibrahim-shah.
